[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Melquiades<\/strong> is a company that was founded in 1956 with headquarters in both Zamora<\/strong> and Guijuelo<\/strong>. It has a cutting room for pork products and specialises in the production and sale of all kinds of hams and sausages<\/strong> from both white pigs and Iberian pigs. All its Iberian hams are cured in natural drying warehouses in Guijuelo in the province of Salamanca and we have a pork transformation centre in Zamora which is where our head offices are located.<\/p>\n

Our origins go back to the 1950s when Melquiades Rodr\u00edguez<\/strong> settled in Zamora from Guijuelo where he had been working as a master pork and ham butcher since the 1940s. The company is still a family business and currently in its third generation.<\/p>\n
